IDC Report Highlights IronPort as Market Leader

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Dec. 19 2007 -- IronPort® Systems, a Cisco business unit and a leading provider of enterprise spam, virus and spyware protection, today announced in the recently published report by leading analyst firm IDC, Worldwide Messaging Security 2007-2011 Forecast and 2006 Vendor Shares: DLP, Encryption, and Hosted Services Heating Up, IronPort is positioned as a leading player in the messaging security appliance market in revenue and marketshare.

The report analyzes the messaging security market for the period from 2006 to 2011, with vendor revenue trends and market growth forecasts. Worldwide market sizing is provided for 2006 across software, appliance and hosted service platforms. A five-year growth forecast for this market is shown for 2007-2011. Revenue and market share of the leading vendors is provided for 2006.
